REALLY COOL!! The art here is pretty consistent with the normal look of Riddle School 1 but also more polished, which is well nice. It's also nice to play as a Riddle School character other than Phil for once.
The puzzles are also way more understandable than Riddle University so that's a big improvement cos a lot of those felt unfair, although the puzzles in this one were quite easy (although this is shared by the first riddle school as well due to its simplicity, and it might sound harsh considering I just praised you for making the puzzles less confusing, but it's a fine balance. Just something to keep in mind, don't wanna get you down, this is an improvement still!)
The personality in this is also great - it's clear you've taken inspiration from Riddle School but also that you've put your own touches on it as well, really loved it!
Very good overall, excited to see what you do next, Riddle School-based or otherwise!
EDIT: It's especially good considering you made it in a week, so props for that as well.

fun but i ran out of lives and i don't wanna spend the time going through the levels i've already played..... sorry...

Thanks! I don’t know the exact amount of time I spent on it, but this was a two week final project for a class (although I kinda put off most of the work until the second week), so that should be a good estimate

This game is actually crazy quality, and has some fun ideas (like the dark room), but I think most of the puzzles are too nonsensical - when I solved them, I didn't really feel clever or anything - there is also a quite a few decorations that feel like they would be part of a puzzle but aren't, which is distracting, and it's weird that some rooms aren't accessible at all but I get it, you probably wanted to use the original building plan for the game or something. That said, I still beat the game 'til the end and the animation was especially pretty good!!

Didn't get it when I first played, but when I did I thought it was pretty smart!! It's a shame I'm not great at falling block puzzles cos this seems like a pretty good one.

Pretty fun game, wanted to go all the way and complete it! The art's fun, if the perspective is a bit off. The bosses were the best part because it broke up what most of the game was, which is see an enemy when it appears and just shoot it - I think there should be normal enemies like that, with different mechanics. For example, the boo is cool but the fact it hides doesn't change how you play against it because you just shoot it anyway - maybe it could be something like you can't shoot it so you have to keep looking at it every now and again to set back its progress of it going towards you. Other than the enemies spawning while the results screen is there, it's a fun time! Good job!

Awesome! Very cool artstyle and fun short game! I wish there was a bit more reason for you to move mid-air, like if you had to land in the toaster again to continue, and maybe the toaster keeps running in the direction you were last holding instead of just interpolating there? Would also be nice to have some indication when hit. But still a good game!

it is fun, but really annoying how you have to start all over again if you die in the boss battle

gamer rage over ended up playing the whole thing. the artstyle's really unique and fun, i like the structure of finding all the pups and then fighting a boss - i do still think resetting progress completely when you die to the boss sucks, i would suggest making the level layout a bit more random each time so it doesn't feel like you're doing the exact same thing over and over. I only really used the default weapon because the others kinda suck and aren't much more fun except for the phone but I appreciate their alternativeness. Overall really good but would rather die than get all the medals :D

This is an incredibly high quality game, holy gibbles! The artstyle and animations were really stellar, the game felt polished and crunchy, and overall a really fun time! I do think that because you do not shoot manually, there doesn't really feel like there's that much skill (except kinda in the last room) and also all the upgrades needing to be purchased before progressing kinda also felt limiting because you couldn't build gooby to a specific playstyle or anything, but maybe it's also like that in vampire survivors (I haven't actually played it), I'm not sure.

Overall, amazing game, especially as there was a time limit for the flash forward jam, and I will definitely be wishlisting the ballad of bonky!
