This is an incredibly high quality game, holy gibbles! The artstyle and animations were really stellar, the game felt polished and crunchy, and overall a really fun time! I do think that because you do not shoot manually, there doesn't really feel like there's that much skill (except kinda in the last room) and also all the upgrades needing to be purchased before progressing kinda also felt limiting because you couldn't build gooby to a specific playstyle or anything, but maybe it's also like that in vampire survivors (I haven't actually played it), I'm not sure.

Overall, amazing game, especially as there was a time limit for the flash forward jam, and I will definitely be wishlisting the ballad of bonky!

I'm concerned yet also intrigued by the fact that there are 7 prequels as yet unplayed by myself.

To be fair, if you've played the latest, you've played them all

damn, i crash and burn more times in this game than in my love life.

holy shit

blocky

Pretty Cool Game! Unfortunately, it can only get so challenging, because there can be only one enemy at a time (I believe), so if you were to ever try something like this again, that's what I suggest.

31hashtag responds:

Thanks for the suggestion. It really does get boring after a while.

Really Cool Game! It has a really nice artstyle and killing the bird is pretty funny. My one complaint is that the bounce pad's timing window is too small. But other than that it's pretty good!

CubePunks responds:

The whole bounce is based off old 2D Mario’s - which was actually extremely tight. I felt in testing making it broader flattened the game’s learning curve too much but I’ll tinker with it being slightly extended.

It really can run on anything

Iceddev97 responds:

yeah i just had to get it out of my computer to free up space and post it here. I did not really know what to call it and shit lol

This is really high quality! Occasionally, the game can feel very cryptic, especially when you need to click places to get items that you can't actually see, or are obscured, or you can't pick up [SPOILER] the coffee wrapper so you forget about it when you need it, but it doesn't really detract from the experience all too much! Keep making stuff, I wanna see what you create next!

lucaslurks responds:

Tysm!!

Starts off a bit easy, but can get pretty intense!

My only gripe is that sometimes the boss teleports into you and takes a heart.

I'm so good at game development, like, you wouldn't believe how completely amazing I am.
